The 2009 Music Club Midsummer Concert took place on a lovely warm summer evening on Tuesday the 23rd of June. Refreshments including strawberries and cream and a delicious Pimms were provided by the Clubhouse. The evening's program is available here.
The concert was hosted by IBM Hursley Music Club. This is one of the oldest subsections of the IBM Club and its aims are to encourage and enjoy the performance, composition and appreciation of all types of music. The club has held midsummer concerts in the sunken garden since the garden took its present form in the 1970’s. IBMers, families and friends are all welcome to join us, both to listen and to perform. The natural ambience and unique acoustics of the area provide an informal setting for a broad range of musical styles. |
